MQA Laboratories, an Analytical Lab Group portfolio company, located in Concord, CA is looking for a experience and motivated Technical Sales representative
You will be working doing outside sales with the help of our Marketing and Inside Sales group selling our services to life Sciences companies

MQA has been in business since 2006 providing services in Northern California and across the US, are looking to expand our sales talent to support our business
MQA provide microbiology, virology and molecular biology testing services, calibration, validation and contract manufacturing services.
In this position you will be selling life science services targeting life science research institutions, biotech, medical devices, pharmaceutical, nutraceuticals and other life science companies
Our goal is to support, develop, and grow our business with major accounts, and additionally to prospect and find new opportunities within our markets.
The successful candidate will grow sales revenue by maintaining positive relationships with current customers, cultivating new customers and market opportunities, creating compelling proposals, demonstrating and providing solutions, and always providing first class support
The candidate will also be required to maintain and regularly update our CRM system, create weekly call plans and customer contact reports, prepare annual territory plans, participate in local and national trade shows, seminars, and training.
Occasional travel to participate in seminars, training, product launches, and trade shows is expected.
Requirements
• At least a BS, but graduate degree is preferred, in Microbiology or Virology or applicable science discipline or scientific field or 5 years of experience in the life science market place
Prefer someone with hands-on lab or biotechnologu and sales experience.
• Scientific sales experience with a proven track record of growth and exceeding sales quotas; formal professional sales training is preferred.
• Knowledge of the local area and customer base with established contacts in the biopharma industry.
• Experience with FDA and other regulatory requirements for biopharmaceuticals, medical devices and nutraceuticals, or other applicable skills.
• Strong organizational skills, along with a track record of responsive, timely and effective territory management

• Strong competitive drive -- must want to win, grow and excel
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; strong presentation skills needed
• Working knowledge of MS Office is a must.
